...AND SO IT GOES

The Moving Finger writes; and, having writ,
Moves on: nor all thy Piety nor Wit
Shall lure it back to cancel half a Line,
Nor all thy Tears wash out a Word of it.

CONTROL FREAKERY OF TWO PARTY POLITICAL POWER SHARING

As one of the 4 million who voted UKIP and got no representation in parliament  it always amazes me how millions can seem to happily accept the control of their lives  by a two party political elite who have established permanent power either in opposition or government and maintain this status quo by dividing the population in terms of class, location and wealth into collective 'prescribed' tribes. This works brilliantly for the politicos under 1st past the post as 'divide and rule' has always been the ultimate tool to conquer and quell the aspirations of the masses. Individual mavericks or local interest groups cannot be allowed any element of autonomy that compromises the control freak mentality of central government that dictates who shall receive what funding, for what development, local education, health, planning policy etc and must rely on the 'handouts' and diktats they in their omnipotent benevolence and they alone can provide.
We must smash this central controlling two party monopoly and
replace it with a system based on local needs and conditions and which is represented in parliament by individuals, not parties under  a new voting system of proportional representation. Not perfect but at least your vote will have some democratic meaning. I don't give a shit who lives in our country providing they can make a valid contribution and are happy to live and let live, but I am sick to death of the f******g idiots at Westminster who drag us all into this petty confrontational dog fight every 5 years in the name of democracy  which it isn't.
There are some good guys too on the green benches of that donkey shed but the system mutes their voice. As for the Lords, well as far as I'm concerned they're just about as relevant as Royalty which ain't a lot.
I'm still voting UKIP in the hope that one day we'll never see the likes of Cameron or Corbyn again.
